KEY INVESTMENT TEAM

Scott Lim Kok Seng (Chief Executive Officer / Chief Investment Officer) joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management in September 2008. He also heads the Investment division of MAAMB. Scott has more than 15 years experience in managing Malaysian and regional equity portfolios and unit trust funds awarded accolades during his management. He was previously attached to CMS Dresdner Asset Management for 10 years as a Fund Manager and subsequently appointed as Chief Investment Officer in 2004. Scott’s financial market experience also includes 5 years at Pheim Asset Management and Premier Capital Management. He graduated from University of Wisconsin in Madison, USA with a distinction in Finance.

Mohamed Sany Zainudin (Fund Manager) joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management in 1999. He has more than 18 years experience in the financial industry including 11 years in fund management. Sany started his career as an Investment Analyst with Amanah Merchant Bank (AMB) in 1990 researching on local / global economy and equity; subsequently transferred to AMB’s Treasury in 1991 managing in-house for 3 years before moving into Fund Management Division managing external funds for 5 years. He graduated from University of Southern New Hampshire (previously New Hampshire College) in 1989 with a double major in Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics-Finance and Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business Administration/Management . He is also a member of the Association of Business Executives, London since 1985 and qualified as a Certified Financial Planner in 2003.

Lucy Kow (Fund Manager) joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management in August 2000. She has more than 18 years experience in the financial industry having worked with two Malaysian-based stockbroking companies as an Investment Analyst for 3 years before joining a public listed insurance company in March 1994, managing company’s life, general, shareholders’ and retirement funds for over 6 years. Lucy graduated from University of Bath, UK in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics with Econometrics. She qualified as a Certified Financial Planner in 2003.

Jason Tham (Fund Manager) joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management in November 2008. He has more 8 years experience in the financial industry. Previously, Jason was with CMS Dresdner Asset Management from September 2006 as a Fund Manager; managing equity and fixed income portfolios. Prior to that he was with HLG Asset Management as an Investment Analyst and subsequently joined Asia Life (Malaysia) Berhad as Senior Investment Executive. He graduated with Master of Commerce (Fund Management) from University of New South Wales, Australia and a Bachelor of Business (Management) from Monash University, Australia.

Edward Pang (Investment Analyst) joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management in January 2009. He has 4 years experience in the financial industry. Previously, Edward was with CMS Dresdner Asset Management from September 2006 as an Investment Analyst. Prior to that he was attached to a local engineering firm and subsequently joined American International Assurance (Malaysia) as a Fixed Income Executive. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from University Putra Malaysia in 2001 and passed the level 3 of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examination in 2008.
