KEY INVESTMENT TEAM
Scott Lim Kok Seng Chief Executive Officer/Chief Investment Officer, joined MIDF Amanah in September 2008 and was appointed to the Board on 28 October 2008. He graduated from University of Wisconsin in Madison, USA with a distinction in Finance. He also heads the Investment division of MIDF Amanah and has more than 15 years of experience in managing Malaysian and regional equity portfolios and unit trust funds. He was previously attached to CMS Dresdner Asset Management for 10 years as a Fund Manager and subsequently appointed as Chief Investment Officer in 2004. His financial market experience also includes 5 years at Pheim Asset Management and Premier Capital Management.
Scott is the one of the designated fund managers for the Funds.
Mohamed Sany Zainudin Fund Manager, obtained his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance (Honours) and Bachelor of Science in Business Management (Honours) degrees from the University of Southern New Hampshire (formerly known as New Hampshire College) in 1989. He joined Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad as an Investment Analyst in 1990, doing research on the Malaysian and global economics, equity markets and companies. He was transferred to the Treasury Department to manage the Merchant bank’s in-house fund for 2 years before managing funds for external clients in the Investment Department for 5 years. He joined MIDF Amanah in 1999. He qualified as a Certified Financial Planner in 2003. He holds a CMSRL issued by the SC under the Act.
Jason Tham Fund Manager, Jason Tham, Fund Manager, graduated from The University of New South Wales (Australia) in 1999. He started his career in HLG Asset Management as an Investment Analyst, before joining a local insurance company, Asia Life (M) Berhad as a Senior Investment Executive. Thereafter, he joined CMS Dresdner Asset Management in 2006 as a Fund Manager, managing the equity and fixed income portfolios. He joined MIDF Amanah Management in 2008. He is a member of MIDF Amanah’s Investment Committee. He holds a CMSRL issued by the SC under the Act.
Sharifah Sebrina Syed Mohd Tahir Senior Equity Analyst, Research, graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2006. She started her career in one of leading asset management company as an Investment Executive, before joining OSK Trustees Berhad in September 2008 handling Corporate Trustee services for unit Trust Funds and Custodian Services. She joined MIDF Amanah Management in June 2011. She holds a CMSRL issued by the SC under the Act.
Sim Eu Jin Senior Equity Analyst, Research, graduated from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Honours). He joined Al Rajhi Banking and Investment Corporation (M) Bhd in 2007 before joining OSK Investment Bank Bhd as an Equity Dealer holding a CMSRL issued by the SC under the Act. He joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management Bhd in 2011.
