KEY MANAGEMENT STAFF



Scott Lim (Chief Executive Officer / Chief Investment Officer) joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management in September 2008. He also heads the Investment division of MIDF Amanah. Scott has more than 17 years experience in managing Malaysian and regional equity portfolios and unit trust funds awarded accolades during his management. He was previously attached to CMS Dresdner Asset Management for 10 years as a Fund Manager and subsequently appointed as Chief Investment Officer in 2004. Scott’s financial market experience also includes 5 years at Pheim Asset Management and Premier Capital Management. He graduated from University of Wisconsin in Madison, USA with a distinction in Finance.

Lynn Chong (Head of Client Services, Marketing & Product Development) joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management in December 2008. Previously she was with CMS Dresdner Asset Management as an Institutional and Corporate Manager. Lynn has more than 15 years experience in the financial industry including sales and business development management experience in the financial equity market focusing on both institutional and high net-worth clientele. She started her career in PhileoAllied Bank, and subsequently has worked with ECM Libra and a local financial institution heading a business development division. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Social Science from University Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Christopher Yap (Assistant Vice President, IUTA and Corporate Business Development) joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management in February 2010. Previously, he was with ING Funds as a Business Development Manager for Central and East Coast Region for IUTA, Corporate and Agency. Chris has more than 21 years experience in the financial industry including product development, business development, sales and marketing focusing in Financial Institution, Corporate, Agency and high net-worth clientele distribution. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Management from University of London.

Azlan Azizuddin (Senior Vice President, Business Development) joined MIDF Amanah Asset Management in April 2010. He has 17 years experience in the stock broking and fund management industry. He started his career in 1993 with Capital Corp Securities as an analyst and later proceeded to be a licensed dealer’s representative for KN Kenanga Bhd. He joined Affin Trust Management Bhd in 1997 as the Head of Research and Business Development and was promoted to Head of Investment for Affin Fund Management in 2003, managing a RM350 million investment portfolio ranging from Unit Trust, Corporate and Government Agencies to Insurance companies. He then joined an international corporate finance company, International Eurobond Consultant (IEC), leading a corporate finance team covering the Southeast Asia region namely Indonesia and Thailand. Prior to joining MIDF Amanah Investment, He was the General Manager of AmanahRaya-JMF Asset Management Sdn Bhd, managing a total fund size of RM 7.5 billion. Azlan graduated with a Bachelor in Economics (Finance) from the University of Tasmania, Hobart, Australia. Licensed Fund Manager Representative under the Securities Industry Act (1983) since 2003.

Shermain Lew Woon Siew, Assistant Manager, Operations Department, she is overseeing the unit trust operation and customer service of MIDF Amanah. She joined Asia Unit Trusts Berhad in June 2000. Prior to that, she was with Public Mutual Berhad. Shermain has more than 13 years experience in the unit trusts industry. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Curtin University, Australia

Zulkifli Hassan, Assistant Manager, Operations Department, he has more than 17 years experience in the financial industry including asset management, stock broking and finance companies. He joined the Amanah Capital Group in 1998 and was with Seacorp-Schroder Capital Management Berhad. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Economics majoring in Business Administration from University of Malaya.
