CAPITAMALLS MALAYSIA TRUST (“CMMT”)

INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING OF 786,522,000 NEW UNITS ON THE MAIN MARKET OF BURSA MALAYSIA SECURITIES BERHAD



MIDF Consultancy and Corporate Services Sendirian Berhad (“MIDFCCS”) wishes to announce that the 65,500,000 new units in CMMT (“Units”) made available for application by the Malaysian public have been over-subscribed.

The initial public offering of 786,522,000 Units comprised:

(i) conditional offer for sale of 764,522,000 new Units made available in the following manner:

• 719,022,000 new Units made available for application by Malaysian and foreign institutional and selected investors at the institutional price determined by way of bookbuilding (the “Institutional Price”) pursuant to the Institutional Offering; and

• 45,500,000 new Units made available for application by the Malaysian public, the eligible directors of CapitaMalls Malaysia REIT Management Sdn. Bhd. (“the Manager”) and eligible employees of CapitaLand Retail Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. at the retail price pursuant to the Retail Offering; and

(ii) public issue of 22,000,000 new Units made available for application by the Malaysian public at the retail price pursuant to the Retail Offering.

Based on the above, the Retail Offering consisted of 65,500,000 Units for the Malaysian public and 2,000,000 Units for the eligible directors of the Manager and eligible employees of CapitaLand Retail Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

In respect of the 65,500,000 new Units for subscription by the Malaysian public, a total of 3,480 applications for 70,111,300 Units were received, representing a subscription rate of 1.07 times.

The Institutional Price has been fixed at RM1.00 per unit. Accordingly, the Final Retail Price has been fixed at RM0.98 per unit. A refund by cheque for RM0.10 per offer unit, being the difference between the Retail Price of RM1.08 per Unit and the Final Retail Price, will be dispatched to the successful retail applicants by ordinary mail within 10 market days from the final ballot at the applicants’ own risk.

The 719,022,000 new Units made available for application by institutional and selected investors have been fully placed out.

Notices of Allotment will be dispatched by post to all successful applicants on or before 15 July 2010.

The Joint Principal Advisers are CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad. The Joint Underwriters for the Retail Offering are CIMB Investment Bank Berhad, JPMorgan Securities (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad while the Joint Global Coordinators are CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd. The Joint Bookrunners for the Institutional Offering are CIMB Investment Bank Berhad, J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad.
