MIDF GROUP ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF MS YONG LEE MEI AT MIDF AMANAH INVESTMENT BANK BERHAD

Kuala Lumpur, Friday, 13 April 2007 -Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (“MIDF”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Yong Lee Mei as Head of Corporate Finance at MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad (“MIDF Investment”).

Bringing with her a wealth of experience in the origination and structuring for the equity and debt market deals in the Malaysian market, Ms Yong will contribute to MIDF Investment’s corporate advisory division, which is responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of corporate finance products such as M&A, capital raising, corporate restructuring, flotation and other corporate advisory services.

Ms Yong holds a Bachelor of Economics (Business Administration) degree from University of Malaya and Diploma in Banking from Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia.
