MIDF APPOINTS FOO WEI HOONG AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

KUALA LUMPUR Thursday, 20 September 2007 Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (“MIDF”) is pleased to announce the appointment of MR. FOO WEI HOONG as the new Chief Financial Officer of MIDF.

Prior to the appointment, Wei Hoong was the Head – Corporate Planning of MIDF. He joined the MIDF Group in July 2006.

Wei Hoong is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom (FCCA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Prior to joining MIDF, he has served in a similar capacity in two other insurance companies. He started his career in audit in a medium-sized public accounting firm.

With his vast experience and expertise in areas of financial management throughout his 23 years career, MIDF Group is confident that Wei Hoong will contribute to the growth of the Company.
