OFFER FOR SALE OF 7,000,000 EXISTING ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.50 EACH AND RESTRICTED OFFER FOR SALE OF 18,117,557 EXISTING ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.50 EACH AT AN OFFER PRICE OF RM0.70 PER ORDINARY SHARE PAYABLE IN FULL ON APPLICATION
MIDF Consultancy and Corporate Services Sendirian Berhad (MIDFCCS) wishes to announce that the offer for sale shares for Ewein Berhad made available for public subscription have been oversubscribed.
The offer of 25,117,557 existing ordinary shares of RM0.50 each in Ewein Berhad comprises:
I) Restricted offer for sale of 18,117,557 ordinary shares of RM0.50 each to the shareholders of MBM Resources Berhad who are public as at 5.00 p.m. on 6 March 2008; and
II) Offer for sale of 7,000,000 ordinary shares of RM0.50 each comprising:
• 6,000,000 ordinary shares of RM0.50 each made available for application by the public; and
• 1,000,000 ordinary shares of RM0.50 each made available for application by the eligible directors and employees of Ewein Berhad and its subsidiary companies;
at an offer price of RM0.70 per ordinary share of RM0.50 each payable in full on application in conjunction with the listing of Ewein Berhad on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
For the 6,000,000 offer for sale shares made available for public subscription, a total of811 applications for 20,990,800 shares with a value of RM14,693,560 were received from the public. This represents an overall over-subscription rate of 2.50 times. For the Bumiputra portion, a total of 176 applications for 156,300 shares were received.
For the 18,117,557 restricted offer for sale shares offered to the shareholders of MBM Resources Berhad, a total of 413 applications for 6,070,500 shares were received. The balance of the unsubscribed shares will be allocated to the public as provided in the prospectus.
Notices of Allotment will be despatched by post to all successful applicants on or before March 27, 2008.
