MIDF SPONSORS MAIN PRIZES AT MINGGU SAHAM AMANAH MALAYSIA 2008 IN AYER KEROH, MELAKA
MELAKA, 23 April 2008 –Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) is back with more exciting prizes from major sponsor Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF).
MIDF has participated in the PNB-led event since it started in 2000 and has become a major sponsor for MSAM for five years.
To attract a bigger crowd this year, MIDF has contributed more prizes among others which include 15 units of Modenas KRISS motorcycles, 50 units of mountain bicycles, as well as 10 laptops for PNB’s daily quiz winners and lucky visitors through out the 10-day event, held from 19 to 28 April .
Daily quizzes will also be held at the MIDF booth on a daily basis and winners of each day stand a chance to bring home a laptop worth RM2,099 each. The quizzes will be based on the company’s booth display which will take visitors through the five eras of the Company’s contribution to the progress of industrialization in Malaysia.
Group Managing Director Encik Mohd Najib Hj. Abdullah said “PNB’s effort in organizing such an event which is dubbed as a national education agenda is commendable and we are in full support of it. We encourage the public to take advantage of MSAM as it is an enlightening and exciting experience which comes only once a year.”
In giving back to the society, MIDF will also be presenting 50 units of bicycles to underprivileged students from two selected schools based in Melaka. “We believe in going the extra mile and extending a helping hand to those in need of our assistance,”he added.
Apart from contributing the prizes, MIDF is also an Event Partner for the PNB-MIDF 2008 Bumiputera Entrepeneurs Symposium which is organized in conjunction with MSAM and PNB’s 30th anniversary.
