APPOINTMENT OF WAN BADROEL AS HEAD OF DEBT CAPITAL MARKETS
Kuala Lumpur, 22 July 2008 – Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF) is pleased to announce the appointment of ENCIK WAN BADROEL HISHAM BIN WAN MOHAMED as the new Head of Debt Capital Markets of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad.
Prior to this appointment, Wan Badroel was the Vice-President, Corporate & Investment Banking at RHB Investment Bank Berhad.
Wan Badroel holds a Master in Business Administration from the Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom.
He began his career with Credit Corporation (Malaysia) Bhd as an Officer in Corporate Banking. In 1996, he joined Affin Discount Bhd and went on to become the Senior Manager, Debt Capital Markets. He subsequently joined K&N Kenanga Bhd as a Senior Manager and Head in the same field in 2002. In 2004 Wan Badroel joined Affin Merchant Bank as Vice President, Debt Capital Markets.
With his vast experience in investment banking deals and debt capital market transactions, throughout his career, MIDF Group is confident that Wan Badroel will contribute to the growth of the Company.
