MIDF PROVIDES FREE TRANSPORTATION TO VISITORS OF MINGGU SAHAM AMANAH MALAYSIA 2009 IN JOHOR BAHRU

Johor Bahru, 18th April 2009– Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF) provides free shuttle service to visitors for the entire duration of Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia 2009 (MSAM).

This transportation service begins at 9:30 a.m. and the last service leaves Plaza Angsana for Johor Bahru city and its surrounding areas at 10:30 p.m. every night.

The free transportation service covers high density neighbourhoods namely Tampoi, Skudai, Larkin and Angsana as well as within the Johor Bahru city areas. This service is also available at the KOMTAR building and within Danga Bay.

“This is MIDF’s way of encouraging the public to visit the MSAM exhibition and the free shuttle service is meant to make it convenient for visitors who depend on public transport to attend such events,” MIDF’s Group Managing Director, Encik Mohd Najib Hj. Abdullah said.

This is the third consecutive year that MIDF has provided free transportation services. MIDF first introduced this service during MSAM 2007 in Kuantan, Pahang.

The provision of free transport service is to encourage the public to seize the opportunity to learn about investment and risk management. The tenth edition of MSAM finally came to Johor, it may be some time before MSAM will come here again,” he added.
