MIDF AMANAH VENTURES SDN BHD

MIDF Amanah Ventures Sdn Bhd (MIDF Ventures) is a venture capital company specialising in private equity deals. It’s principal activity is that of venture capital investment in high-growth and high technology-based companies which require capital for expansion and growth purposes.

Its shareholders’ funds stood at RM70.4 million as at 31 December 2006. During the year, MIDF Ventures made new investments worth RM11.8 million in three companies. Since 2004 until end-2006, MIDF Ventures has invested a total of RM25.0 million in seven companies of which one is currently listed on MESDAQ and another listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

MIDF Ventures is a member of the Malaysian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and has also been invited to be a member of committees under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institutes (MARDI), which administer Technofund, the subject of the committees’ assessment.
