Assist the Chief Economist in conducting primary research on all matters pertaining to the economy, including social and politics.
Assist the Chief Economist in developing economic models.
Maintain economic models and database.
Make preliminary forecasts on a wide range of economic indicators, including national output, interest rate etc. The chief economist shall decide on the final forecast.
Make regular presentations to clients and prospective clients.
Produce regular reports for distribution to internal and external clients.
Develop and maintain rapport with financial and economic authorities, government agencies and private bodies etc. for purpose of facilitating its research.
Degree in Economics.
Minimum 5 years working experience as Junior Economist.
Candidates must have Capital Markets Services Representative’s Licence (CMSRL) from the Securities Commission.
