Our Initiatives
MIDF’s CSR initiatives will be in support of the nation’s socio-economic objectives and national economic development policies, which, among others, include the following areas:
1. Community
Education is the basic foundation of progress and civilization for any society, and is elementary for a country’s development. MIDF will initiate and support all efforts to empower youth for the future, and simultaneously raise the national capacity for knowledge and innovation. In executing this initiative, MIDF will provide assistance on education to students from poor and needy family, by providing them the basic schooling needs such as school uniforms, bags, books, stationeries and fees, including for tuition.
For primary and secondary school students from families within the poverty bracket who excel in their studies, MIDF will provide full scholarship and financial assistance for them to pursue their studies in boarding schools and higher tertiary academy. To further enhance community welfare, MIDF will engage in activities such as adopting a charitable institution, whilst encouraging employee participation in such activities.
MIDF will also offer special grants to individuals or students who are undertaking special projects which promote national agenda, with primary focus on science, technology and innovation. MIDF is also committed to provide monetary or non-monetary assistance to communities or organisations in the event of national disasters.
On a yearly basis, MIDF will organise a blood donation campaign to encourage all its employees to donate blood.
