Climate Governance Malaysia launched the first national summit on climate governance which was held from 5 until 7 September 2023 at Sasana Kijang with the support of Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM), SME Corp. Malaysia, FIDE FORUM, the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM), the Malaysian Institute of Governance (MCG) and the United Nations Development Programme. 

After weeks of preparation and anticipation, the MIDF expedition team comprising 11 members set off on an adventure of a lifetime – the climb up the majestic Mount Kinabalu.

MIDF’s Development Finance Business (DFB), together with Bizphere Sdn. Bhd successfully organized the Southern Region edition of the MIDF Automation & Digital Forum, the third of the series, on 22 August 2023 at The Trove Hotel in Johor Bahru. The keynote address was delivered by YB Chin Tong Liew, the Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) via video recording.

MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad (MAIB) received the “Best Islamic Facilities” award for OMS Group Berhad’s Multi-Currency Islamic Syndicated Term Financing Facilities at The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2023 ceremony which was held in Kuala Lumpur on 16 August 2023.

On 14 August 2023, Development Finance Business (DFB) arranged a tour of two factories located in Melaka for our Board members. The visiting group included our Chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat, Board members Dato’ Kaziah Abdul Kadir, Datuk Mohd Nasir Ali, Encik Ahmad Lutfi Abdull Mutalip, representatives from DFB including its Chief Business Officer, En. Azizi Hj Mustafa.
