MIDF Amanah Investment Bank wins Alpha Southeast Asia’s Award for Best Syndicated Loan of the Year 2022
MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad (MAIB) received the “Best Syndicated Loan of the Year 2022” award for OMS Group Sdn Bhd’s Multi-Currency Syndicated Facilities at Alpha Southeast Asia’s 16th Annual Best Deal & Solution Awards 2022 award ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur on 7 February 2023.
YBhg. Puan Nur Julie Gwee Ariff and her team from Debt Markets Department of MAIB together with YBhg. Datin Ng Cheng Hong and her team from OMS Group Sdn Bhd as well as the representatives from the other mandated lead arrangers at Alpha Southeast Asia’s 16th Annual Best Deal & Solution Awards 2022 award ceremony.
MAIB is the lead coordinator and mandated lead arranger for the transaction, together with other mandated lead arrangers, namely HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad, HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad, OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad, and OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad. The Multi-Currency Syndicated Facilities were uniquely structured under various currency and securities packages involving various jurisdictions, to meet the business requirements of OMS Group Sdn Bhd.
