Newly appointed MITI Minister visits MIDF
Newly appointed Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI), YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul bin Tengku Abdul Aziz held his first official visit to Menara MIDF on 12 December 2022.
Accompanied by representatives from MITI including YBhg Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil, Deputy Secretary General (Investment), MITI’s communications team and his Special Officers, YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul was welcomed by MIDF Chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat, our Group Managing Director, Dato’ Charon Wardini Mokhzani, MIDF Board Members as well as the Senior Management team and staff of MIDF.
YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul signed the official guest book upon arrival before being invited to pose for official photographs with our Board Members and Senior Management team.
He then attended a briefing session which included presentations by Dato’ Charon Mokhzani, who gave a brief background of the Group, followed by presentations by our Head of Development Finance Division, En. Azizi Hj. Mustafa, who spoke about the financing schemes and updates on funding that are managed by MIDF and a presentation by the Head of GMD’s Office, En. Ahmad Farouk Mohamed on the latest updates of the ongoing merger discussions. This was followed by a discussion between YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul, and the management team before all our guests were invited to proceed to lunch.
