Deputy Minister of MITI visits MIDF
Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI), YB Liew Chin Tong held his first official visit to Menara MIDF on 18 January 2023. He was accompanied by representatives from MITI including Ms. Ng Wei Ling, Senior Private Secretary (SUSK), as well as the communications team and the Deputy Minister’s Special Officers.
YB Liew was welcomed by, Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat, MIDF Chairman, Dato’ Charon Wardini Mokhzani, our Group Managing Director, Dato’ Dominic Silva, CEO of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad, Datuk Yasmin Mahmood, and Encik Ahmad Lutfi Abdull Mutalip, MIDF board members as well as the Senior Management team and staff of MIDF.
YB Liew was invited to sign the official guest book upon arrival before being invited to pose for official photographs with our Board Members and Senior Management team.
He was then briefed about the UiTM Art Gallery before proceeding to Dewan Berlian for an information-sharing session which included presentations by Dato’ Charon Mokhzani, who gave a brief background of the Group, En. Azizi Hj. Mustafa, our Head of Development Finance Division, who spoke about the financing schemes and provided updates on fundings that are managed by MIDF and finally En. Ahmad Farouk Mohamed, Head of GMD’s Office who provided the latest updates on the ongoing merger discussions. This was followed by a discussion between YB Liew, and the Senior Management team before all our guests were invited to enjoy a specially prepared lunch.
