MIDF recently attended MITI Day 2023, which was held on 5 August 2023, at Dewan Raja Muda Musa, Shah Alam, Selangor. The event was launched by YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, Acting Chief Minister of Selangor, while Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry YB Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz delivered the opening address. 

MIDF recently attended the Monthly Assembly of MITI & Agencies No. 2/2023 on 1 August 2023, where the Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI), YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz delivered the speech on behalf of the Prime Minister who called upon all agency members to strengthen the concept of "Malaysia Madani".

MIDF has been appointed as the implementation agency of the Second Chance Financing (2CF) by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). The scheme is aimed at providing businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with access to financing assistance, advisory services and business guidance, enabling them to overcome those challenges while fueling growth, capitalise on new opportunities and contribute to the overall economic development of the country. 

This year's MIDF Green Conference 2023 played on the theme of "Shaking Things Up", as part of efforts to promote ESG principles amongst corporates and the wider community, as we face increasingly urgent environmental challenges and can no longer ignore the need for sustainable change. 

MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad (MIDF Investment) received the "Wakalah Deal of the Year 2022" award at the IFN Awards 2022 held on 17 May 2023. The event honours local and global banks that played a critical and impactful role in unraveling the potential of Islamic finance.
